Those enormous, awesome crowds are made up of countless individual people, with friends and family and strangers, now celebrating what a commenter at Ethan's called "the most amazingly inspirational thing I've seen in fucking ever". Yeah. Look at those faces.
That link doesn't work. Why does Obama keep calling this gathering of ages "young people?" I have my knee-jerk reactions/theories, but am perhaps young and optimistic enough to doubt them.

I'm really enjoying that the date of this (in the sensible way that non-Americans render it) is 11-2-11. Nicely symmetrical.
